Medical Biller

What you'll do

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims
• follow up on unpaid, rejected, and denied claims
• research billing issues
• file appeals and reconsiderations
• work accounts receivable
• verify insurance eligibility and benefits when needed
• review patient accounts
• post payments
• monitor aging reports and payer deadlines
• document follow-up
• communicate recurring issues to management
• coordinate with clinical and front-office staff
• maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA
• assist with payer requirements and billing duties as assigned.
