What you'll do

• Monitor the facility
• provide emotional support and active listening
• screen potential clients by phone
• clean, supervise chores, stock supplies, and track inventory
• assist with data entry, filing, and clerical work
• provide confidential, holistic, trauma-informed services
• orient new residents
• provide backup coverage to other shelter programs as needed
• assist with program operations and maintain documentation.

Why this role

Part-time, 16 hours per week. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and qualifying experience or education, age 21 or older, and a valid California driver’s license and insurance. The role requires or allows completion after hire of the state-mandated 40-hour Domestic Violence counselor certification.
