DevSecOps Engineer — Junior Level and Above

The DevSecOps Engineer role is onsite in the Greater Baltimore Area; telework is not allowed. The hourly wage range is $48.08–$108.17. Cipher Tech Solutions supports mission-critical work for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. This opening is pending contract award and adds applicants to a talent bank for possible future interviews. The engineer leads the creation and maintenance of CI pipelines that build, validate, secure, and deploy software and infrastructure to on-premises and cloud environments. The role helps project teams integrate infrastructure and configuration as code, automate security assessments and testing, and support audits of deployed infrastructure.

• Lead deployment of software and infrastructure solutions in on-premises and cloud environments

Why this role

Requires U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance or higher, a qualifying degree and experience combination, Kubernetes and Helm expertise, CI pipeline expertise, and a DoD 8570/8140 IAT II-compliant certification. Core hours are 0930–1430 Monday–Friday, with attendance outside that window as needed.
