What you'll do

• Safely operate agency vehicles to transport older adults and other eligible passengers
• assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles, including those using mobility devices
• secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment
• follow routes and schedules
• conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• maintain trip records and mileage logs
• communicate with passengers, dispatch, and team members
• report vehicle concerns, safety issues, incidents, and passenger needs
• maintain a clean vehicle
• and follow agency policies, confidentiality requirements, and transportation regulations.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. A valid Michigan chauffeur’s license and acceptable driving record are required. Previous professional driving experience or experience working with older adults is preferred but not required.
