This role supports the Cardiac Post-Procedural Medical Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital, part of Endeavor Health. This role performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort, and safety of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practicing Nurse. The technician demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

What you'll do

• Perform hourly rounding
• assist with patient ambulation and repositioning
• provide basic nursing care (ADLs)
• assist with admission/discharge/transfers
• perform procedures such as ECGs and wound care
• act as a care companion/sitter.
