Staff Nurse — Behavioral Health and Substance Use

What you'll do

• Conduct nursing assessments, including ASAM forms
• provide routine care at various levels
• identify treatment needs and contribute to measurable treatment plans
• complete nursing documentation
• review medication logs and assist the medical department
• administer medications as directed
• provide medication education
• coordinate with patients, families, and referral sources on progress and post-discharge plans
• use clinical judgment in crisis situations, including risk assessment and de-escalation
• tailor nursing approaches to patient needs and build rapport.
