Job overview

Compensation is $75,000–$100,000 per year. The Automotive Canadian Buyer is an onsite position based in Minneapolis, MN. This role exists to manage the acquisition of vehicles for inventory through online and live auctions while maintaining inventory strategy plans. The buyer contributes to operational excellence by coordinating with internal directors and external wholesalers to ensure optimal vehicle stock levels.

What you'll do

• Establish inventory plans with GM/GSM
• set stocking levels with Used Vehicle Director
• acquire vehicles via auctions
• monitor purchasing sources
• manage Tekion status/lot locations
• set up reconditioning plans
• manage ReconTRAC
• communicate repair concerns
• coordinate purchase documentation
• build relationships with wholesalers and importers
• create arbitration plans.
