What you'll do
- Coordinate daily patient flow and functions of Nuclear Medicine Services.
- Assess performance of quality control procedures and documentation.
- Assure proper receipt, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials.
- Perform all exams and assume duties of charge technologist in their absence.
- Order supplies.
- Prepare stock solutions of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Calibrate equipment.
- Perform diagnostic exams as prescribed by physician.
- Use scanners or scintillation cameras to produce images.
- Measure radioactivity using Geiger counters.
