HR Business Applications and Solutions Database Administrator

Job overview

The HR Business Applications and Solutions Database Administrator role is off-site, with periodic meetings at HQ DLA in Fort Belvoir, VA, or other Washington, DC metropolitan-area locations; compensation is $140,000–$190,000 per year. The position supports the Defense Logistics Agency Human Resources Management Applications IT Sustainment Support effort and is contingent upon contract award.

What you'll do

• Administer, design, create, and maintain client/server databases
• conduct database quality control and auditing
• advise users on access
• maintain database dictionaries, standards, procedures, file design and storage, and systems integration. Support database programming, system design, performance, security, backup, and tuning.
