Senior Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Senior Maintenance Technician is an onsite, full-time role in Houston, TX; compensation is $33.42–$42.75 per hour. The technician performs expert-level corrective and preventive maintenance, diagnoses complex equipment and control-system issues, and recommends reliability improvements. The role also supports continuous improvement, predictive maintenance, training, and the development of lower-level technicians.

What you'll do

• Perform break-fix and preventive maintenance
• diagnose root causes and repair or replace defective parts
• test electrical circuitry and mechanical systems
• source parts and evaluate alternatives for cost or reliability
• work with the planner-scheduler to optimize preventive maintenance
• may set up and operate machining tools or perform welding
• participate in continuous improvement
• assist and train lower-level technicians
• troubleshoot complex control systems
• collect predictive maintenance data and analyze trends
• update CMMS records
• follow safety policies.
