Land Survey Crew Chief

The Land Survey Crew Chief role is onsite in Boonton, NJ, with field and office-based projects. Pay is $30–$48 per hour, depending on experience. Control Point Associates provides land surveying services for construction, engineering, and land development projects. The crew chief leads field operations, gathers and processes accurate survey data, and communicates with clients on site. The role contributes to dependable surveying deliverables through crew leadership, equipment use, safety, and quality control.

What you'll do

• Lead survey crews and perform construction stakeouts, topographical surveys, boundary analysis, and as-built surveys
• operate robotic total stations, GPS RTK units, 3D laser scanners, and data collectors
• conduct field calculations and sketches
• download and process data
• maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
• mentor crew members
• communicate project status to clients.
