Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer role is hybrid in Scottsdale, AZ. Approximate base salary is $90,000–$110,000 per year, based on skills and experience. The role supports Coffman Engineers’ multidisciplinary engineering design work for clients across commercial, institutional, government, and industrial projects. The engineer contributes electrical design and coordination to project teams, producing power and lighting layouts and calculations while working with other engineering disciplines. The position supports complete engineering design packages and design excellence in the Phoenix office.

What you'll do

• Develop electrical power and lighting designs and layouts using Revit and/or AutoCAD
• perform load, branch circuit, voltage drop, short circuit, photometric, and California Title 24 calculations
• coordinate equipment and mechanical systems
• apply National Electrical Code knowledge
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Communications design is preferred
• power system analysis software experience is a plus.
