The Senior Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Engineer is an onsite role in Georgetown, TX. Salary is $100,000–$135,000 per year. Hanwha Convergence USA provides operations and maintenance services for solar and energy storage systems and develops integrated control and monitoring systems. The engineer leads the design, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of SCADA and Plant Power Control systems for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects. The role coordinates with engineering teams, clients, project stakeholders, and field personnel to deliver reliable control solutions, meet applicable requirements, and improve engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Lead SCADA and PPC design, development, programming, and implementation for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects
• configure and commission Ignition SCADA applications
• integrate RTUs, SEL RTACs, PLCs, gateways, inverters, meters, relays, and BESS equipment
• maintain system architecture and technical documentation
• troubleshoot communications, control logic, networks, and integration issues
• develop and execute FAT, SAT, commissioning, and validation activities
• support grid integration and compliance
• lead assigned engineering projects and coordinate schedules and budgets
• provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
