Grill Master (Cook)

The Grill Master (Cook) is an onsite role in Albuquerque, NM, with pay of $13–$14.50 per hour. The role supports El Pollo Loco’s kitchen and its chicken preparation and grilling operations. The cook prepares and grills chicken to quality standards, maintains appropriate product levels through the shift, and keeps the workstation clean and sanitary. The role also assists with training new cooks and supporting other kitchen stations as needed.

What you'll do

• Follow food-handling procedures and safety protocols
• inspect chicken quality through receiving, rotation, marinating, and grilling
• monitor chicken projections and cooked product levels
• receive chicken orders, cook and package chicken
• clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, tools, and storage areas
• assist in training new cooks
• assist peers with hot prep, expediting, and burrito assembly
• perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
