The Security Operations Center Operator / Security Officer role is onsite in Normal, IL, with compensation of $25.00 per hour. Allied Universal provides security and facility services that support the safety of client facilities and the communities they serve. The role combines centralized security operations monitoring with security officer duties. It helps protect client facilities by monitoring security, communications, and fire/life safety systems, responding to calls and alarms, documenting events, and conducting patrols when not assigned as an operator.

What you'll do

• Monitor security, communications, fire/life safety systems, surveillance cameras, and alarms
• answer and respond to calls, radios, and intercoms
• document routine and unusual events
• make emergency notifications under procedures
• liaise with departments
• patrol facilities and perimeters
• monitor access points
• report suspicious activity and security concerns
• respond to incidents
• prepare reports
• assist with escorts, crowd control, special events, and property movement as directed.
