What you'll do

• Greet and guide patients and visitors
• register inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
• verify identity, demographic, and insurance information
• schedule and check in appointments
• obtain treatment consent
• scan documents into Epic
• complete missing account information
• coordinate with departments
• monitor emergency department entrance access during the specified 11 p.m.–7 a.m. shift
• clean the admitting work area and adjacent public areas as needed.
