New Product Introduction Manager

The hands-on manager oversees prototype and manufacturing builds and leads the transition from design through pilot production and transfer to contract manufacturers. The role coordinates people, processes, materials, equipment, suppliers, and quality systems to deliver builds on schedule and within budget.

What you'll do

• Oversee in-house prototype and manufacturing builds
• manage day-to-day team activities
• review designs for manufacturability and assembly
• lead design transfer and new manufacturing setup at contract manufacturers
• manage inventory, tools, equipment, and staffing
• plan production forecasts and materials
• establish production and test processes
• qualify equipment and validate processes
• manage supplier relationships and quality agreements
• maintain and improve business and quality processes to meet FDA and ISO standards
• coordinate with clients, suppliers, and engineering.
