The technician helps maintain a safe, structured therapeutic environment and reinforces individualized treatment goals. Through supervision, skill-building activities, behavior support, documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team, the role contributes to children’s progress and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Supervise and support children according to treatment plans
• maintain a safe therapeutic environment
• support program activities and therapeutic groups
• reinforce behavior plans and interventions
• help children develop coping, emotional regulation, social, communication, and problem-solving skills
• use trauma-informed de-escalation and crisis intervention
• document observations and progress
• collaborate with treatment team members
• maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable requirements.
