The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Day Shift, 12-Hour role is onsite in South Paris, ME, with shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and every other weekend required. Pay is $22.22–$27.10 per hour. Maine Veterans’ Homes provides resident care in assigned areas that may include memory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing. The CNA provides routine nursing care and assistance with daily living according to individualized care plans. The role works with nurses and other care team members to support residents’ dignity, comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• provide routine nursing care according to care plans and standards
• observe and report changes in residents’ condition
• support resident preferences, dignity, and safety
• assist with positioning, transfers, and ambulation
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• follow infection-control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
