The Teacher for 2-Year-Olds role is onsite in Fort Pierce, FL. Pay is $14–$15 per hour. Kids in the City Academy’s program supports social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development for two-year-old children. The teacher plans and leads an age-appropriate classroom, guides assistant teachers or aides, observes and documents children’s development, and communicates with families. The role helps maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment aligned with Florida standards and supports the center’s program quality and goals.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans aligned with Florida standards
• supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides
• maintain a safe, organized classroom
• observe, assess, and document children’s development
• communicate with parents or guardians and participate in conferences
• maintain required records
• comply with state licensing, program, health, and safety requirements
• participate in staff meetings and professional development.

Why this role
