Senior Software Systems Engineer, BMS Safety

It contributes to safe system development through analysis, reviews, documentation, and coordination with program stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Conduct and lead engineering and safety reviews
• perform software risk assessments
• prepare reports and briefs for formal boards
• analyze system safety plans, safety management plans, hardware and software changes, and safety test documentation
• translate technical details into safety-risk communications and records
• research, design, develop, and test software used in DoD weapon systems
• assess requirements and engineering artifacts
• support verification and validation oversight.
