What you'll do

• Escort patients and communicate appointment delays
• review medical records and conduct pre-visit interviews
• record medical history and vital signs
• report patient concerns or health changes to providers
• administer injections under provider supervision
• may perform venipuncture and capillary punctures
• conduct designated point-of-care testing
• assist with referrals, prescriptions, appointments, and follow-up
• maintain clinical documentation and prepare and clean treatment areas.

Medical Assistant certification and BLS are required within 90 days of hire; fingerprint clearance card application is required upon hire and the card within 90 days. One year of related experience is preferred.
