The Carpenter Journeyman III is an onsite role based in Guthrie, KY. The pay rate is $30.00 per hour. This position supports the City of Guthrie Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project. This role is responsible for preparing layouts, designing and constructing concrete forms, and evaluating standard construction techniques. The journeyman independently performs inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

What you'll do

• Prepares layout, using rule, framing square, and clippers.
• Designs and constructs concrete forms.
• Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools equipment and supplies as needed.
• Cleans, maintains, adjusts, calibrates and services equipment used in the performance of duties.
• Performs routine duties.
• Evaluates, selects and applies standard construction techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities.
• May provide technical direction to laborers or discipline helpers.
