Heat Exchanger Brazing Technician

The Heat Exchanger Brazing Technician role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with compensation of $25.50–$27.82 per hour. The technician builds and tests components used in heat exchangers, condensers, and evaporators for Marmon Industrial. The role produces consistent, leak-tight joints by preparing and assembling copper and aluminum components, brazing or soldering to approved procedures, and inspecting and testing completed assemblies. It also includes maintaining tools, recording production and quality data, following hot-work and gas-handling safety practices, and contributing to quality and throughput improvements.

What you'll do

• Assemble coil components according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• braze and solder copper tubing and fittings using oxy-acetylene or induction equipment
• control flame, filler, and heat
• prepare joints through cleaning, alignment, and fluxing
• conduct visual and pressure/leak tests and rework defects
• maintain torches and tools
• safely stage materials and gases
• record production and quality metrics
• follow hot-work and pressurized-gas safety practices
• report equipment or material issues
• assist with training as needed.
