What you'll do

• Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade database platforms
• monitor databases, servers, and storage
• provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
• troubleshoot and resolve database issues
• assist users
• conduct performance monitoring, resource optimization, and capacity planning
• communicate incident status
• implement reliability, security, and performance improvements
• support infrastructure recovery.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and ten years of relevant experience, or five additional years of database administration experience in lieu of the degree. U.S. citizenship, active security clearance with appropriate polygraph, and DOD 8570 certification required. Microsoft SQL Server experience desired.
