General Yard Operations, Marine Maintenance

The General Yard Operations role is onsite in Lakeville, CT. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. Barton & Gray Mariners Club provides private outings across more than 35 harbors, and this role supports vessel operations. The role maintains vessels through protective coating work, engine and generator servicing, jet servicing, and general vessel repairs. It helps keep vessels in service by completing maintenance tasks and communicating completed work to the service manager or supervisor.

What you'll do

• Prepare vessel surfaces and apply protective coatings to steel, wood, and fiberglass
• perform engine and generator services such as oil changes, belt work, and inspections
• service jets, including removal and replacement, inspections, and zinc changes
• complete vessel punch-list tasks such as replacing bulbs and cabinet latches, adjusting trim tabs, and wiping bilges
• communicate work performed to the service manager or supervisor.
