The Automation Technician — 3rd Shift role is onsite in East Longmeadow, MA, with compensation of $20–$22.50 per hour. Cartamundi is a worldwide leader in playing cards and play solutions, and this role supports automated production across its facility. The technician helps maintain reliable, high-speed production by troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems, supporting equipment upgrades and process improvements, and training operators in safe equipment use and basic troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control systems, and field devices
• diagnose faults
• perform preventive maintenance
• support integration, testing, and commissioning
• assist engineering with automation improvements
• maintain sensors and other field components
• train operators
• respond to downtime
• document maintenance and root-cause findings
• support production, reliability, safety reviews, and compliance.
