Job overview

The Relationship Banker role is onsite across two assigned locations, with two days each week at a SEG Branch in a Box site and three days at the Crystal Lake, IL branch; travel between locations is part of the regular schedule. Pay is $20.48–$30.73 per hour, with an anticipated hiring range of $20.48–$25.60 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Great Lakes Credit Union provides members access to financial services and financial wellness resources. The role supports the credit union’s relationships with assigned SEG organizations by providing convenient access to membership, accounts, financial guidance, transactions, and products. It also supports branch operations, member acquisition, outreach, and relationship development while following account, transaction, security, and compliance procedures.

What you'll do

• Staff assigned Branch in a Box locations
• build relationships with SEG employees and leaders
• support outreach, membership drives, financial wellness events, and presentations
• explain membership eligibility and support new-member acquisition
• open and maintain memberships and deposit accounts
• understand member needs and recommend services or make referrals
• perform authorized member transactions
• follow cash-handling, security, and compliance procedures
• support branch lobby, teller, account-opening, outbound-calling, and lead-follow-up activities
• track outreach, referrals, appointments, and results
• coordinate schedules and operational needs with branch and business-development partners
• travel between branches, SEG sites, and events as assigned.
