Category Manager – Luxury Goods

Job overview

The Category Manager – Luxury Goods role is onsite in Mountain View, CA, with regular travel to Triumph’s San Francisco office alongside the team. Pay is $150,000–$180,000 base per year plus equity. The role reports to the Head of Procurement and New Vertical Strategy. The manager owns purchasing activity and vendor relationships for the luxury goods portfolio, directing spend and assortment decisions based on inventory needs, sell-through, margin, and market demand. The role contributes to category growth and product margin through sourcing, negotiation, vendor development, and performance tracking.

What you'll do

• Manage the luxury goods portfolio’s composition, cost basis, and vendor mix
• allocate weekly vendor spend based on inventory pressure
• select brands, references, and price tiers using sell-through, margin, and market demand
• negotiate pricing and terms with wholesale partners
• manage vendor communications and issue resolution
• identify, vet, and onboard vendors for new subcategories
• manage authentication partners and related controls
• track allocation fill rate, portfolio growth, vendor coverage, and cost basis relative to market.
