What you'll do

• Program, repair, and maintain automated machinery and auxiliary equipment
• diagnose equipment problems and determine repairs
• analyze and resolve issues
• make repair parts and replace defective components
• perform welding and sheet-metal work as needed
• operate lathes, vertical mills, drill presses, and grinders as required
• maintain an orderly work area and follow safety rules
• occasionally direct an assigned helper.
