Mental Health Therapist - Washington This is a full-time, onsite position in Scenery Hill, PA. Compensation is not specified. New Directions Mental Health is committed to improving access to mental health care in our communities. The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive mental health services to clients and families, supporting their healing and resilience through tailored therapy and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans
• Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
• Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists.

What we're looking for

Education

Master's Degree

Experience

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field. Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
