What you'll do

• Set and calibrate base and rover survey equipment, including Trimble and Topcon systems
• perform stakeouts, point collection, and grading checks
• configure GPS-enabled construction equipment and load machine files
• use mobile radios to coordinate work
• read and set grade markers from construction plans
• observe excavation for conformance and report deviations
• communicate with crew members
• and perform other related duties as assigned.
