Infant Teacher

The Infant Teacher role is onsite in Amherst, NH, and pays $17–$20 per hour. The teacher provides responsive infant care and age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones. Daily observation, documentation, and communication with families help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom and keep parents informed.

What you'll do

• Feed, diaper, and soothe infants
• design and implement age-appropriate activities for language, motor, and cognitive development
• maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets state licensing standards
• observe and document routines, progress, and milestones
• communicate with parents about daily activities and needs.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 credits in early childhood education or a related field meeting New Hampshire requirements, and documented infant or toddler experience in licensed childcare. CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire is required.
