The Early Childhood Intervention Specialist role is full-time and onsite in Plainview, TX. Compensation is $16.18–$17.34 per hour. Central Plains Center’s mission is to improve quality of life for people with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and chemical dependency and their families through accessible services and resources. The specialist provides early intervention and service coordination for children from birth to age three in the program’s nine-county catchment area. The role conducts intakes, screenings, and assessments; coordinates and documents services; and coaches and supports families in children’s natural environments.

What you'll do

• Provide early intervention and service coordination for children from birth to age three
• conduct intakes, screenings, and assessments in children’s natural environments
• participate in determining appropriate services
• coordinate services and link families to resources
• document services collaboratively with caregivers
• follow infection-control policies and universal precautions.
