Field Service Technician – Retail Technology Deployment

Job overview

The Field Service Technician – Retail Technology Deployment role is onsite at assigned retail stores in the Lowell, AR listing area. Pay is $22–$23 per hour, with 50 hours per week guaranteed during a two-week deployment scheduled for October 19–31; orientation is October 16. The technician supports a retail technology rollout across store locations. The technician installs and upgrades point-of-sale systems, cameras, cabling, and end devices, then troubleshoots and documents completed work. Coordination with the remote helpdesk and project management team helps validate installations and resolve site issues.

What you'll do

• Install and upgrade point-of-sale systems
• install and configure IP security cameras
• run, pull, terminate, and test low-voltage and network cable
• install and set up end devices
• troubleshoot network, POS, and low-voltage issues onsite
• work with the helpdesk to validate work and resolve issues
• photograph completed work
• report completed and outstanding scopes
• obtain a helpdesk release code before leaving each site
• follow site procedures and track time.
