The Senior Superintendent / General Superintendent role is onsite in Bethesda, MD, with local and regional travel throughout the DMV Region. Base salary is $90,000–$150,000 annually; candidates with qualifying General Superintendent experience may be considered for compensation up to $175,000 annually. The role supports complex construction projects for a construction organization. The superintendent leads field execution from mobilization through closeout, coordinating safety, quality, schedules, subcontractors, staffing, materials, and site logistics. The role works with project managers and teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily on-site construction operations from mobilization through closeout
• enforce safety requirements
• coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, deliveries, inspections, equipment, and site logistics
• partner with project managers on goals, staffing, and execution
• develop and maintain schedules
• monitor manpower, materials, and subcontractor performance
• review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and contract documents
• maintain quality control, as-built records, permits, inspections, commissioning, punch lists, and closeout
• manage general conditions and field labor costs
• communicate with project stakeholders
• mentor project team members.
