MDU Fiber Technician

Job overview

The Fiber Technician role is onsite in Milton, WA, with compensation of $35–$38 per hour. Cannon Companies’ ISP/OSP Communications Division provides copper and fiber data networks for corporations and government agencies. The technician installs, terminates, splices, tests, certifies, documents, and maintains fiber-optic cabling, supporting safe and reliable communications network work.

What you'll do

• Install, terminate, splice, test, certify, and document fiber-optic cabling
• perform related maintenance
• read fiber splicing and equipment installation prints
• operate bucket trucks and aerial lifts safely
• follow prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment
• support customer needs.
