Staff Accountant

Job overview

The Staff Accountant role is onsite at Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, DE; compensation starts at $30 per hour. The role is part of the Administration team and supports the Club’s financial operations. The accountant maintains accurate financial records by handling accounts payable and payroll and assisting with budgeting, audits and reporting. This work supports the Club’s financial controls and helps department managers and leadership access reliable financial information.

What you'll do

• Process and code accounts payable invoices
• prepare vendor payments and reconcile statements
• maintain vendor records and oversee purchase-order compliance
• partner with department managers on account coding and reporting
• assist with inventory counts, internal controls, audits, budgeting and special projects
• process weekly payroll and maintain payroll data
• ensure payroll compliance and reconcile payroll and benefit accounts.
