Provider Credentialing & Licensing Specialist

The Provider Credentialing & Licensing Specialist role is hybrid in Long Beach, CA. Compensation is $27–$30 per hour. Advanced Medical Management supports physicians and advanced practice providers employed by its single-TIN medical groups. The specialist manages credentialing and licensing from offer acceptance through committee approval, directory listing, and payer enrollment readiness. The work helps providers meet verification, licensing, and compliance requirements as they join or expand within the medical groups.

What you'll do

• Perform initial and re-credentialing and primary source verification
• assemble audit-ready files and track committee approval
• verify malpractice coverage and manage expiring credentials
• prepare and track state medical license and DEA applications and renewals
• guide providers through prerequisites
• coordinate CAQH setup
• maintain onboarding trackers
• review intake packets
• support audits and collaborate with internal teams and health plans.
