What you'll do

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and treatments
• restrain and prepare animals and equipment
• clean and sanitize examination rooms, surgical areas, and kennels
• feed, water, and exercise animals as needed
• monitor behavior and report concerns
• administer medications and treatments as directed
• provide pet owners with post-treatment instructions, answer basic questions, and schedule follow-up appointments.
