Field Service Technician

Job overview

The Field Service Technician role is based onsite in Orange, MA, with up to 50% U.S.-based travel, including overnight stays, and 5% international travel to customer locations. Pay is $25–$37 per hour. Rodney Hunt provides flow-control solutions for the water and wastewater industry. The technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs water-control gates, valves, and actuators at customer sites. Coordination with engineering, project management, and production teams supports reliable service and equipment performance.

What you'll do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair water-control gates, valves, and operating systems
• test, calibrate, and adjust systems
• provide equipment feedback and solutions to engineering
• coordinate with project management on timelines and customer expectations
• support production and quality assurance
• adapt training materials and operating manuals
• train and support customers
• document service visits
• follow safety protocols
• manage service tools and inventory
• assist with equipment assembly at the manufacturing facility when not traveling.
