Home Health Aide

Job overview

The Home Health Aide role is onsite in Lake Placid, FL, with compensation of $22 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, and the aide works with one patient for the complete shift. Elite Care Management's home healthcare team provides private-duty and home health care in the community. The aide supports a patient's comfort, daily living, mobility, and overall well-being while building familiarity with the patient and family. The role also involves observing and reporting changes, helping with light household tasks, and monitoring basic vital signs.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, lifting, and transfers
• perform light housekeeping such as changing linens, laundry, cleaning, or meal preparation
• maintain patient-care records and report observations to a supervisor or case manager
• engage the patient in conversation and activities
• and monitor pulse, temperature, and respiration.

Why this role
