Field Support Technician – POS, Vending and Network Equipment

The Field Support Technician role is onsite in Austin, TX, with compensation not specified. The position supports TKC Holdings’ customer equipment and service operations in the corrections and hospitality industries. The technician travels to customer locations within an assigned service area to diagnose and repair equipment, coordinating with the Service Desk and facility personnel to resolve incidents and maintain service continuity.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, test, repair, and replace kiosks, PCs, vending machines, networking equipment, and other IT equipment at correctional facilities
• perform preventive maintenance and walkthroughs with the Service Desk
• use a company car to travel to customer locations within the service area
• update work orders with travel time, work notes, and resolution
• maintain inmate phone systems at facilities in the assigned region
• travel to Saint Louis as needed for hands-on training.
