Youth Care Worker — Residential Youth Recovery

Job overview

The Youth Care Worker role is onsite in Harlingen, TX, at $15 per hour. SCAN RGV Youth Recovery Home is a residential substance treatment facility for adolescent males ages 13 to 17. The role provides direct supervision and oversight of youth throughout daily activities, supports transitions, communicates and reinforces program expectations, and completes shift documentation. This work helps maintain a safe, structured environment for youth in care.

What you'll do

• Provide direct supervision of youth in care and maintain line-of-sight
• oversee recreation, meals, relaxation, and play
• assist with transitions between activities and locations
• interact appropriately with youth
• communicate respectfully with youth, families, and agency staff
• explain and enforce behavioral expectations and program regulations
• complete required documentation before the shift ends.
