This role serves as the senior metallurgical leader, providing strategic and operational oversight for superalloy design, chemistry control, and vacuum induction melting processes. The Technical Director drives continuous improvement in quality and manufacturing performance while acting as the primary technical liaison for customers and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary technical authority on superalloy metallurgy
• lead and manage the Engineering team
• provide technical leadership for alloy targeting and specification development
• direct Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) operations
• lead metallurgical investigations and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
• drive continuous improvement initiatives
• oversee raw material qualification
• serve as technical liaison for customers
• support capital projects and new process development.
