What you'll do

• Perform CT examinations of the head, neck, spine, chest, and body, including general and complex exams
• determine technical factors, positioning, and scan parameters
• use appropriate imaging protocols
• operate and maintain CT equipment
• follow VA and radiology safety standards
• verify patient identification and explain procedures
• advise radiologists of examination results and notify them of scans requiring immediate attention.
