What you'll do

• Operate and maintain vertical bandsaws, CNC lathes, CNC mills, and surface grinders
• read work orders, blueprints, and part specifications
• machine and cut metallurgical samples to requirements
• use hand tools and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• label, identify, store, and handle samples properly
• use overhead cranes and forklifts to move samples and equipment
• report equipment issues
• participate in internal and ISO 17025 audits.
