The Dietitian role is onsite in Roscoe, NY, and is part-time. Compensation is $40–$42 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports residents at Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center with individualized nutritional care intended to promote health, well-being, and quality of life. The Dietitian assesses residents’ nutritional needs, develops care plans, monitors nutrition-related indicators, and collaborates with facility staff and other disciplines. The work also supports resident and family education, regulatory compliance, and the facility’s nutrition and food-service programs.

What you'll do

• Complete and oversee nutritional assessments for newly admitted residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans
• monitor weights, meal intake, supplements, hydration, laboratory values, and therapeutic diet needs
• collaborate with food service, nursing, therapy, and other disciplines
• provide nutrition counseling and education
• review menus, recipes, dietary consistencies, and nourishment programs
• participate in care plan and quality improvement meetings
• maintain required records and summaries
• assist with policy review, dietary education, and the facility diet manual.
