What you'll do

• Learn equipment maintenance and plant servicing
• operate treatment facilities and control wastewater, sludge, and effluent processing
• operate valves, gates, pumps, engines, and generators
• monitor gauges, meters, and control panels
• report abnormalities
• maintain shift logs and readings
• collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests
• perform routine maintenance and custodial duties.
