What you'll do

• Operate a residential refuse truck with automatic side-loading equipment
• collect carts along assigned routes using in-cab controls
• follow route sheets, maps, and onboard routing systems
• maintain awareness of hazards
• handle occasional extra or bulky items under company guidelines
• conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• report cart issues and vehicle defects
• follow DOT, safety, and local rules
• interact professionally with customers
• complete route, inspection, scale, and incident records.
